Dr. Michelle Mackey-Sawyer

Family Medicine

Dr. Michelle Mackey-Sawyer graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1995.  She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Fairview Hospital in 1998.  Dr. Mackey is Board Certified in Family Medicine.  She was one of the founding physicians of Broadview Heights Family Medicine, Inc., which was established in 2001.

Dr. Mackey-Sawyer has lived in Cleveland her entire life and currently resides in North Royalton with her husband and four children.  She enjoys spending time with her family, sporting events, exercise, and travel.   Dr. Mackey has a strong commitment to family unity and community loyalty.  Her interests include pediatric, women’s, and preventive medicine.

Dr. Matthew Andresen

Family Medicine

Dr. Matthew Andresen is a graduate of Miami University and the University of Toledo College of Medicine.  In 2011, he completed his residency training in Family Medicine at Fairview Hospital.  He joined the staff of Broadview Heights Family Medicine in 2012.  He is Board Certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Andresen grew up in the Cleveland area and currently resides in Avon Lake with his family.  His hobbies include spending time with his wife and three children, jogging, and watching Cleveland sports.  His interests include pediatric medicine, sports medicine, men’s health, and preventive medicine.

Dr. Christine King

Family Medicine

Dr. Christine King is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and she completed her residency in Family Medicine at Fairview Hospital in 2003.  She joined the staff of Broadview Hts. Family Medicine in 2007. Dr. King is Board Certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. King has lived in the Cleveland area for over 30 years, and currently makes her home with her husband in Brunswick.  A mother of 5 children, Dr. King enjoys spending time with her family, recreating outdoors, participating in church activities, and following the Cleveland Indians.  She appreciates the wide variety of patients she encounters in Family Medicine, that range from pediatrics to geriatrics.  She is committed to enhancing the physical, mental, and emotional health of her patients.

Judy Klecan

Practice and Billing Manager

Judy Klecan is our Practice Operations and Billing Manager.  She has over 33 years of experience in the health care field, specializing in Family Medicine, Cardiology, and Podiatry.  She oversees the day-to-day operation of the practice.  She is also our Billing Specialist. She assists both the patients and physicians in all aspects of care. She has been with the practice since it opened in 2001.

Judy’s personal interests include travel and photography.   She lives in Brecksville with her husband and daughter.  She believes in treating the patients like she would want and expect to be treated.  She loves watching the practice’s children and the patient’s families grow over the years.

Maria Linden

Quality Care Manager

Maria Linden is our Quality Care Manager.

In addition to coordinating our front office desk and staff, she is also the specialist in our Electronic Medical Records system and is an EPIC MPC SuperUser.  She has been with BHFM since 2002.  Additionally, she also brings with her over 30 years of customer service experience.

Her primary focus is on implementing office policies and procedures into the practice that facilitiate obtaining and maintaining quality standards, such as our recent certification as a Level 3- Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH).  She monitors our quality measurements and facilitates continuous improvement initiatives.

She is our internal Patient Care Coordinator that oversees multiple outreach and staff training programs.  These programs exist to assist patients in maintaining a healthy lifestyle through patient outreach, education, and providing additional resources.

Michelle Rodes, MA

Clinical Coordinator

Michelle Rodes is our Clinical Coordinator, and assists in the Billing Department.  She received her Medical Assisting degree at the National Education Center and has 10 years of Medical Assisting experience.  She has been with Broadview Hts. Family Medicine, Inc. for over 8 years.  Previously, she did home health care.  She is also a certified phlebotomist.

Michelle currently lives in Northfield Center with her husband and three daughters.  Michelle’s philosophy at work is to provide our patients with quality healthcare and compassion.  Her favorite part of working with BHFM is the family atmosphere.  In her pastime, she enjoys riding her Harley Davidson.

Christine Mahdinec, RMA

Clinical Care Coordinator

Christine Mahdinec is a Registered Medical Assistant with Broadview Hts. Family Medicine, Inc.  She earned her degree in Medical Assiting from Belmont College in 2015.  She has 3 years of experience in a school setting with a primary focus on pediatric patients.  Her clinical and strong administrative skills are an asset to our practice.

Her philosophy regarding her job is “Do small things with great love”

In her free time, she enjoys baseball, football games, skiing, reading, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Melanie Medlen, CMA

Melanie Medlen is a Certified Medical Assistant with Broadview Hts. Family Medicine, Inc.  She earned her degree in Medical Assisting through her high school vocational program.  She continued her education with additional training through vocational college.  Her clinical and strong administrative skills are an asset to our practice. Melanie treats her patients with the utmost respect and is an excellent communicator.  

In her free time, she enjoys horse back riding, nature, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her significant other. 

Kaitlyn Cirk, CMA

Kaitlyn Cirk is a Certified Medical Assistant with Broadview Hts. Family Medicine, Inc.  She earned her degree in Medical Assisting from Fortis college in 2013.  She has 10 years of experience in a clinical setting with a primary focus on family practice.  Her clinical and strong administrative skills are an asset to our practice.
